PONS would like to recognize a couple of our members who were given grants/scholarships through ONS this past year. They were featured in the ONS Scholarship/Grant booklet that was given out at ONS. These included the following:
Joanne Harrington PhD, AOCNP, APRN-BC who received a $10,000 Foundation Nursing Research Grant for her work on ADT and Metabolic Syndrome with Prostate Cancer. Joanne works at the V.A. in Phoenix
Wes Foster BA RN CMSRN OCN who received a $3000 ONS Foundation Master's scholarship. He works at Banner Thunderbird.
Denice Gibson RN MSN AOCNS who received a $1000 Scholarship for IOL (Institutes of Learning)..
